Office Partitions Wall Linings & Ceilings

CSI Interiors Mezzanine Floors Flooring Partitions Partitioning Wall LiningsInitially, CSI was set up to offer a service providing partitions, dry lining and ceilings to the Trade.

Since these products compliment the floor side of our business, we shall continue to pursue this type of work!

Within the scope of the three product types named above, we are happy to supply and fit the following:-

Partitions

  • Plasterboard Composite Partitions (also known as "Comply", "Dufalyte" and "Aluminium Framed" partitions) not normally fire rated!
  • Plasterboard Stud Partitions (also known as "metal stud", "metal framed",  "stud and board" and "fire rated partitions") can provide both fire protection and greater sound reduction
  • Melamine faced chipboard, which when substituted for plasterboard in the "CSI Interiors Mezzanine Floors Flooring Partitions Partitioning Wall Liningsstud" partitioning system can offer a more robust, easy to maintain finish which lends itself to "clean" environments such as low level laboratories, food preparation areas etc. (note! the inclusion of a timber board generally precludes this system from achieving any degree of fire protection).
  • CSI "Firewall" - a steel faced, foam cored, self supporting system which lends itself to incorporation where the aesthetic is less important but speedy, cost effective enclosurers or divisions need to be erected.

Wall Linings

Allow the customer to "clad" exposed steel, brick or blockwork walls to enhance their appearance and reflect the look and feel of the adjacent partitions.

To this end, we offer both plasterboard stud dry lining and melamine faced chipboard dry lining.

Ceilings

Can be either "suspended" from existing overhead suspension points (timber or steel roof purlins, mezzanine steelwork etc.) or "self supported" from a new steel support grid sitting on partition or brick/block walls.

In the main, ceilings tend to be "exposed grid" type with 1200mm x 600mm or 600mm x 600mm tiles laid within, or "MF" type whereby a steel grid system is erected and plasterboards are fixed onto this grid - board joints are then filled and the ceiling painted to provide a domestic ceiling effect.

A wide variety of tiles can be provided for exposed grid ceilings to suit most applications and aesthetic requirements!

Finally, the CSI "Firewall" product also lends itself to applications where ceilings do not necessarily need to achieve any degree of fire protection, and the overall appearance needs to be clean but not particularly aesthetically appealing - again the product goes up quickly and can be relatively inexpensive.
